Marc Faber : I would rather Invest in the Emerging Markets today than in the US
ET Now: What is your take on fund flows and how do you think global liquidity would really impact emerging markets?
Marc Faber: We have diverging performances. The US market has been very strong, as you know, whereby the majority of stocks are no longer making new highs, but we have a very strong index. We are up three times from the lows in 2009. So we have gone up pretty much in a straight line.
We are going to blow ourselves out in the US and then a more meaningful decline will follow in the fall of this year. Regarding other markets around the world, I find better value in European stocks and in emerging markets there is quite good value, though not perfect value, because the valuations are also up. But in general, I would rather invest in the emerging markets today than in the US. - in ET Now
