MARC FABER ON HOW TO COPE WITH SELL-OFF 2019

Marc Faber the Editor of the Gloom, Boom & Doom report spoke to Nikunj Dalmia, the Managing Editor of ET NOW, on how to cope with the sell off 2019. Talking about emerging markets he said that most EMs peaked in 2015 & since then have been in a bear market & have under performed the US markets. He believes that investors should look at emerging economies at present than the US market which is very expensive along with US Dollar which is also on the higher side. He believes the US economic expansion & stock markets cycle is nearing the end. Looking at the current optimism in the US equities he feels that any disappointment could lead to longer term decline in market.Talking about commodities he said soft commodities like soyabeans, corn, wheat & coffee look attractive but investors should be cautious about the rollover of futures is very expensive. For individual to play in the commodities market would be by buying plantation stocks. He believes the Indian economy will grow as well as the Chinese economy with one proviso peace. Last talking about boom, doom & gloom, he talks about the boom in bitcoins and then in gold.

Marc Faber is an international investor known for his uncanny predictions of the stock market and futures markets around the world.Dr. Doom also trades currencies and commodity futures like Gold and Oil.
